October 15th 2010 saw the official release of Stone Parade’s second album ‘Stratosphere’. Stratosphere is out now and available through iTunes, major music retailers or at our online store.

Watch out for extensive touring in 2011 to support this release.

The band worked tirelessly for the first half of the year, writing, recording and self producing the album in their Northern Beaches studio, affectionately known as ‘The Faco’.

World reknown producer, Mark Needham (The Killers/My Chemical Romance) mixed the album with mastering undertaken by Leon Zervos in Sydney’s famed Studios 301.   This album sees the band taking a slighty different direction musically resulting in songs that are more energetic, vibrant and more alternative. Bass guitarist Mark Fouche explains “Stratosphere is an album focussing on where we live.  The cosmic themes come through not as an intentional implementation, but as a reflection on where we feel we are now.  We wrote it for ourselves, to imagine ourselves without boundaries or the restricting of creative freedoms”.
